Kawena Vidigal is a visual artist And creative director based in the Bay Area, CA. Her body of work revolves around and works within themes of exploring her own womanhood in today’s times. utilising ancient archetypes, Kawena’s work attempts to tap into the collective unconscious to create tangible expressions of the human existence, as seen through her lens.

As this show is about highlighting female experiences and The Handmaids Tale, both pieces submitted offer insight into Kawena's own recent journey leaving an abusive relationship and becoming a single mom.
