Apparan

Apparan is a London based multidisciplinary street artist and educator from the Canary Islands.

Her work deals with social related issues such gender equality. Her murals usually depict women with colourful long curly hair and strong features. She incorporates surreal elements and positive messages with bold line work, shading and bursts of colour within her creations.

Her work has been supported and commissioned by various brands ranging from restaurants and shops, video clips and organizations like SOS Rape. Her illustrations and murals have been featured in several books and she a cowriter of a story book for children.

She is co-founder of Art House Project London through which she has organised and curated dozens of exhibitions bringing House Music and underground art together in different venues in London.

She also co-organises the London International Pasteup Festival which specialises in large collage installations featuring artist from all around the world.

 Alison Dollery is a visual artist, researcher, writer, and curator who uses her manufactured and transformed body as a canvas in her interdisciplinary practice as research.

Alison has an award-nominated, internationally exhibited art practice, including artist talks at the Royal Academy of Art and performances at Tate Modern in London. She holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the UCA and an MFA in Arts and Humanities from the Royal College of Art in London. She is currently studying for her PhD in Art and Design at Sunderland University, with a studentship from the Northern Bridge Consortium.

Helen McArdle, a Nursing researcher, is dedicating herself to art-based methods within bariatric medicine and body image.
